NPU schedules flushing of water system for 2019
Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) will begin the annual flushing of its water system for 2019 during the week of July 15. This work is expected to be complete by early September.

Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) presented Backus Hospital, part of the Hartford Healthcare System, with a rebate check for $46,635 following the successful completion of a recent energy-efficiency upgrade during a brief ceremony on Monday afternoon, July 15, 2019.
Online Bill Payment Site Maintenance
NPU’s online bill payment site will be temporarily unavailable during system maintenance on Sunday, June 30, 2019 between 5 AM – 8 AM. This work is necessary to conduct upgrades to the operating system and firewalls. A maintenance message will appear during this time to any customer who attempts to pay online while the system is down.If you have any questions, please call NPU at 860-887-2555.

Credit Card Issue Impacting Online Bill Payment Receipts
