As businesses affected by the pandemic begin to reopen, NPU wants to remind our commercial customers who were closed for that past several weeks that water inside your building’s plumbing has likely become stagnant during this time. This water can become unsafe to drink or otherwise use for domestic or commercial purposes.
May 13, 2020 – Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) is announcing a new initiative, the Special Payment Arrangement (SPA) program to assist customers who have fallen behind on their utility bills as a result of the Pandemic.

Due the closure of NPU to the public as a precaution from the coronavirus pandemic, the City of Norwich Board of Public Utilities Commissioners and Sewer Authority meetings scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2020 will be made available to the public through a WebEx link.
