During its September 2020 meeting, the Board of Commissioners for Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) approved new rates for the four services we provide our customers.
Road Closure Notice – November 5, 2020
On Thursday, November 5, 2020, a private tree contractor will be working with NPU and Norwich Public Works to remove a large tree at 204 Old Salem Road that has become a public safety hazard.

NPU to conduct mandatory inspection of natural gas meters
Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) is working with Precision Pipeline Solutions to perform safety inspections on our natural gas meters in your neighborhood as required by the State of Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA). This is a mandatory safety inspection that will take only a few minutes to perform.
