August 4, 2022 – As statewide drought conditions persist, Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) is asking their residential and commercial customers to make reasonable adjustments to their water use until conditions in the region improve.
Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) continues to monitor the conditions at both of its reservoirs very closely and will advise the public should there be a need to curtail their water use.
Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) has issued a Power Alert and is encouraging customers to voluntarily conserve energy for the next three days.
NPU is working with TRC Companies, Inc to perform safety inspections on our natural gas meters in your neighborhood, as required by the State of Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA).
Natural gas customers of Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) will see a reduction in their monthly bills as a result of a provision in the recently approved State Budget that exempts the utility from the State’s Gross Receipts Tax.
