In an effort to provide more transparency to our customers, we are redesigning our electric and natural gas rate tariffs.  These proposed new rates will be the subject of a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. at the offices of Norwich Public Utilities, 16 South Golden Street.  The Board of Public Utilities Commissioners will welcome any comments at this public hearing.  If approved, these changes will take effect July 1, 2013.

The Sewer Authority of the City of Norwich will be holding a public hearing on April 23, 2013 at 7 PM to hear comments on the proposed sewer assessments for the Newton Street sewer project.

Surveying Norwich's Natural Gas System

Contractors from Premier Utility Services are in the process of surveying the gas mains on properties throughout Norwich. They will be surveying the lines from the street to the gas meter.

Gas Distribution Work in Downtown Norwich

November 13, 2012:  NPU Gas crews will be working over the next few weeks replacing gas mains in the downtown Norwich area.

Offices Closed for Holiday

NPU's Customer Service Center and Business Offices will be closed for rountine business on Monday, November 12, 2012 in observance of Veteran's Day.  NPU Personnel will be available for emergency service calls at 860-887-2555.
